The Careers Centre utilises CareerHub (CareerConnect) as its main interface with employers and students. Employers are encouraged to register on CareerConnect (www.careerconnect.murdoch.edu.au), in order to promote both graduate and student opportunities (i.e. vacation and graduate programs, internships, casual/part-time jobs) as they arise.  Employer / Industry events can also be promoted on CareerConnect.

The Careers Centre offers a direct mail out service, as well as a number of on-campus student engagement opportunities. This includes activities such as employer presentations and workshops, career boot camps and fairs, and other promotional/networking activities.

Careers Week

19 February – 1 March (Semester 1).

During careers week, the Careers Centre team will organise a combination of practical career development workshops and various ‘one-day School specific Boot Camps’ for Final year and Penultimate year students to assist in their preparation for approaching the graduate market. Industry specialists will be invited to help host a Speed Interviewing session during the School specific Boot Camps. – Careers Week 2018 is an event not to be missed!

Nursing Career Boot camp

April 2018.

Final Year Nursing students will be presented with practical career development workshops and an opportunity to learn about the application process of ‘GradConnect’, a streamlined on-line recruitment system for newly qualified nurses and midwives

Access Experience Fair

1 August 2018 (Semester 2).

An on-campus Careers Fair promoting Vacation Work, Volunteering, Casual job opportunities and Professional Engagement as an essential employability activity during your studies.
