Finance is seeking suitability qualified applicants for its 2008 Winter Vacation Employment Program. If you are interested in gaining experience in an organisation that plays a pivotal role in providing strategic policy and financial advice to support Australian Government decision-making, then Finance is a place to be.
We are looking for students who are keen to gain experience during their end of year break. Students will need to meet the following criteria:
- Studying majors in disciplines such as: Economics, Econometrics, Actuarial Studies, Accounting, Finance, Business, Arts, Law, e-commerce, Commerce and IT;
- Maintained at least a credit average;
- Obtain a security clearance; and
- Australian Citizenship.
There may also be opportunities for successful candidates to also work part time during the year on a non-ongoing basis.
Successful candidates will be eligible to receive a minimum annual base salary of $41,300 (pro rata). The positions are based in Canberra and successful interstate candidates will be responsible for their own travel, accommodation and associated costs.
