IMC is one of the world’s leading proprietary firms trading on the biggest exchanges in the world. We’re also the number one market-maker on many.

Founded in 1989 by two Dutch traders who shared a vision to be the world’s leading market-maker, IMC employs over 400 people in the Asia Pacific region, Amsterdam, Chicago and Zug. We trade on an entirely proprietary basis and we’re active primarily in algorithmic arbitrage and market-making on listed exchanges across the globe.

Our impressive credentials are just the beginning. We have our sights firmly fixed on becoming the number one proprietary trading company in the world by profit and volume. The possibilities for our future and yours are endless at IMC.

We do things a little differently at IMC – If you like the idea of a place without fancy job titles, power struggles and inflated egos, a place where everybody contributes on an equal footing, ideas are prized and success is rewarded, then you’ll feel at home here.

Social Events and Benefits

From the finer details of working life like free staff breakfasts and dinners, complimentary fruit bowls and a fully-stocked bar, to grander gestures like the annual weekend away to destinations such as Queenstown, Tropical Queensland or Vanuatu; you’ll be treated like one of the family at IMC. And with regular team dinners and events, Friday night drinks, monthly company-wide events and charity initiatives to get involved in, you’ll find our working culture to be welcoming and friendly.

Community Involvement

As you may have guessed, team spirit and togetherness is a vital aspect of working life here – and that philosophy also extends outwards to the community at large. We believe wholeheartedly in the importance of philanthropic work, sharing wealth, and giving back – and so we contribute to and support a number of charitable causes, with a primary focus on education.
