AECOM

After years of study, you’re looking for the path forward to a successful career.

At AECOM, we believe you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for. To discover why read on or visit graduate.aecom.com

Want to build a better world with people who are committed to a sustainable future? At AECOM, our purpose is to enhance and sustain the world’s built, natural and social environments. That means planning and designing the cities, the buildings, the transportation systems and the infrastructure that countries need to sustain economic and social growth. If that challenge excites you, we are the path forward…

AECOM is a global company with local presence. We thrive on finding smarter solutions to some of the world’s most challenging projects across buildings, design, environment, water, mining, planning, energy and transportation. AECOM is 45,000 people in 125 countries. In Australia and New Zealand, we are over 4500 people in over 20 offices.

The path to opportunity
AECOM puts you on a path where there is more opportunity. It’s a path where you can apply your skills alongside leaders working on some of the region’s most challenging and meaningful projects. It’s a path that connects you to peer and technical networks across over 125 countries. It’s a path that also provides a range of professional development programs, health and wellbeing initiatives, social events and clubs, corporate discounts, plus much more.

The path to professional development

Over three years, our Growing Professional Skills (GPS) program helps you bridge the gap between formal education and the workplace through a range of activities, including:
  • technical skill development
  • site visits
  • mentoring
  • project management experience
  • professional networking
  • industry memberships (e.g. IEA, AILA, RAIA, PIA)
As added incentive, it’s flexible, fun and fully endorsed by the Institute of Engineers Australia (IEA) for graduates looking to achieve professional accreditation (CPEng). We hold a two-day off site induction where you hear from our CEO and senior leaders, meet other graduates to help establish your peer network and get to know AECOM – our projects, our initiatives and our commitment to you.
