DMO has around 7,400 people in more than 70 locations throughout Australia and overseas. We are a civilian organisation responsible for acquiring and sustaining the equipment used by the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

The DMO manages over 190 major projects; many are the largest and most demanding in Australia. The ADF relies on the DMO to provide its equipment on time, on budget and to the required levels of quality – the ADF’s operational success depends on us.

If the DMO were a private company it would be one of the largest on the Australian Stock Exchange. It has an annual budget of over $11.1 billion, and will manage over $115 billion worth of acquisition and sustainment business over the next 10 years.

The 18-month graduate program consists of three work rotations, at various locations around Australia, including assistance to achieve industry based professional recognition.
