Aurecon (Graduate Development Program)
Live your ideas.
At Aurecon, we are committed to unleashing the potential of our people. Our graduates and vacation students are given the opportunity to grow and develop their career to become a specialist in a field of their choice.
We will support your continual learning and professional development once you finish your studies so that you reach your full potential. Our approach to learning encompasses a number of programmes to enhance your capability in the following areas:
In and out of the workplace, we foster and support a culture of mutual respect and collaboration between colleagues. We embrace change and offer our people rewards and recognition as they progress through their careers.
Emerging Professionals Programme
The Emerging Professionals Programme (EPP) is Aurecon’s global development framework. The EPP is a four year program designed to develop our people into specialist consultants. We achieve this by delivering a blend of technical and non-technical personal development programmes to our emerging professionals.
The non-technical components of the EPP focus around four core elements of development, delivered throughout the life of the programme:
• Self management - To assist the graduates transition from university to become a productive employee who is able to use their judgement and initiative to achieve project tasks.
• Think client - To help establish the fundamentals of professional client services, enabling the emerging professional to build working relationships, both internally and externally, for the benefit of professional project outcomes.
• Commercial acumen - To gain an understanding of how Aurecon operates, and build understanding around financial matters, managing budgets and forward forecasting.
• Drive project results - Develop skills fundamental to becoming an effective project leader focused on the delivery of successful projects on time and on budget.
