They are well positioned within the profession to work for Chartered Accountants in public practice, as financial and business analysts and in middle management roles.
Accounting Technicians work in areas of accounting and finance – often in support roles for Chartered Accountants and Associate Chartered Accountants. Their skills enable them to apply accounting systems and processes and analyse and manage the information and data vital for decision making.
