Mighty River Power is a New Zealand-owned electricity generator and retailer of gas and electricity providing up to 22 per cent of New Zealand’s total energy. We supply more than 340,000 business and domestic customers through our retail business Mercury Energy. Our metering business Metrix provides meters and meter-reading services to residential and commercial customers mostly in the Auckland area.

As a graduate you will be appointed to a real role that allows you to take ownership of projects and responsibilities that will challenge and stretch your knowledge and broaden your skills. These roles exist within business divisions which operate hydro, co-generation, landfill and geothermal power stations, and those that carry out geothermal exploration and power plant construction projects. They also exist in business units within Mighty River Power that are responsible for the trading of electricity and extend to marketing and analytics opportunities in the retail business, Mercury Energy.
