Beca

Beca is a flourishing, IPENZ-endorsed Asia Pacific organisation and the largest New Zealand employee-owned engineering and related consultancy services group. We have a 90-year history in New Zealand, are well established in the Asia Pacific region and operate out of 27 offices in 12 countries around the world. Of our 2,000 employees, over 1,400 are based in one of our seven New Zealand offices.

What we offer graduates

We’ve been delivering a successful graduate development program for more than 15 years, and are looking for more than 100 new graduates to join us every year.

The graduate development program at Beca includes six monthly performance development discussions; on the job coaching; graduate development days; core skills training; mentoring program; site visits and graduate group monthly sessions with guest speakers.

We have graduate opportunities available in a wide range of specialisations, across all seven of our New Zealand offices.

Our graduate program will enable you to quickly become involved in real projects while developing the broad range of skills and experience necessary to become a successful consultant. You’ll have the opportunity to experience a wide range of project work, and if you’re keen, you could work in other Beca offices either throughout New Zealand or overseas.

Beca graduates are rewarded with a performance-based salary and benefits that are designed to recognise contribution, achievement and growth.  You’ll start on a competitive, market-driven salary, which is reviewed twice–yearly to accurately recognise your developing skills and contribution.

Graduates at Beca find that their more senior colleagues are always happy to share their knowledge and experience to speed up the learning process. A friendly atmosphere and healthy social scene help to make Beca a great place to work.

“One of the best things about working with Beca is having the chance to work with people with so much talent and experience in a friendly social environment. I was welcomed into the team and valued as a member of it and had the chance to learn new things by working alongside great people.”

-- Sarah Kirkpatrick, Auckland
