ASIS is Australia’s overseas human intelligence (HUMINT) collection agency. Our primary function is to obtain and distribute secret intelligence, not readily available by other means, about the capabilities, intentions and activities of individuals or entities outside Australia, which may impact on Australian interests, and the well-being of its citizens.

When to apply

Eligibility

You will need one or a combination of:

  • A minimum three-year university degree
  • To be currently undertaking tertiary studies and able to demonstrate sustained progress (note additional selection procedures at proposed commencement may be required) OR significant relevant work experience with/without tertiary or equivalent studies
