Registering for ACCA’s accelerate program will provide valuable technical and educational support to assist your current tertiary studies and help you develop skills employers look for in graduate trainees.

You will receive:

  • student accountant – ACCA’s monthly student magazine packed with technical articles and practical advice, relevant to your degree and career aspirations

The ACCA Qualification closely links practical experience to the exam syllabus. You will need to complete three-years relevant practical experience.  Your practical experience can be gained whilst working in many countries.

Key Dates

Registration:

31 December if you wish to sit examinations in June

15 August if you wish to sit examinations in December                       

Exemption:

31 January if you wish to gain exemptions for June examinations

31 July if you wish to gain exemptions for the December examinations

Examinations:

Held in June and December each year.

Students will need to complete their examination entry forms by 15 April and 15 October for the June and December examinations respectively

ACCA qualification

ACCA has established a worldwide reputation for the high quality and relevance of its syllabus and examinations, attracting the best students around the world to the challenge of completing the ACCA professional scheme. Study materials available are both excellent and inexpensive. You can order study manuals from ACCA accredited tuition providers here in Australia and sit the examinations in all major cities.

In order to qualify as an ACCA member, you will complete:

  • 14 exams (nine of which are eligible for exemption)
  • Relevant practical experience, with a minimum of three years
  • A Professional Ethics module
