SA Water is an internationally recognised water utility wholly owned by the Government of South Australia. We provide water and wastewater services to more than 1.5 million customers across the State. Our vision is water for growth, development and quality of life for all South Australians.

SA Water has more than 1,500 employees throughout the State and our head office is located in the capital city of South Australia, Adelaide. With an annual turnover in excess of $900 million and assets of more than $8.6 billion, SA Water is a big part of the South Australian landscape. With water supply in the forefront of national and State interests, SA Water is involved in exciting and innovative projects aimed at securing water supply.

SA Water has a high-profile Graduate Program which provides a structured yet flexible two-year project  rotation. The SA Water Graduate Program is designed to fast track participants’ knowledge and skills in order to prepare them for an ongoing role in the business.

Graduates have the opportunity to undertake diverse project assignments ranging from 6 to 12 months across SA Water business units. Other features of our program include:

  • Continuous training and development – graduates will undertake extensive training in a range of areas including water quality awareness, presentation skills, project management and negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Excellent work-life balance – including flexible hours, gym membership discounts and a health and wellbeing program.
  • The opportunity to learn from leaders in the water industry – networking events are held for graduates to meet employees from our other programs and areas of the business.
  • A dedicated mentor and buddy – to assist and guide you throughout the program.
