Assurance Audit: The Assurance Audit Group conducts annual financial statement audits of Australian government entities and agencies. It plays a crucial role in improving the standards of financial management and administration across the public sector.

Performance Audit: The purpose of performance audit is twofold. The first is to provide Parliament with an assurance about the quality of public resource management. The second objective is to assist public sector managers by identifying and promoting better administrative and management practices.

Degrees/disciplines
For the Assurance Audit group we are looking for graduates in:

Commerce/Accounting, Business/Accounting, Economics/Accounting or IT Systems/Accounting.

For the Performance Audit group we are looking for graduates in:

Economics, Social Science, Law, Business, Arts, Finance, Communications and Environmental Science.

We particularly welcome applications from those with an interest in program/project evaluation, research and analysis and public sector administration.
