Peabody has an ongoing commitment to student development, as we view today’s students as tomorrow’s leaders. Our 12-week Vacation Program has been designed to ensure our students receive varied and challenging hands on style work to enable them to put the theory that have learnt at university into practice.
The Vacation period is designed to allow students to have a ‘taste’ of working within the mining industry with a leading international coal mining company. Opportunities are available across our sites located in Queensland and New South Wales in both open cut and underground operations. Students will be provided with quality accommodation in our company share houses or mining villages during their placements, as well as competitive salary.
