NSW Treasury

All the work we do at NSW Treasury is geared towards achieving a stronger economy and better public services.  NSW Treasury advises the Treasurer and the NSW Government on State financial management policy and reporting, and economic conditions and issues.

NSW Treasury – Office of Financial Management (OFM) has around 250 staff and is located in Sydney’s CBD , close to bus, train, and ferry services.

Our graduate program

OFM offers a one year graduate program with the following features:

  • Graduates are offered permanent positions in a professional and dynamic working environment.
  • Graduates will be placed in three different areas in OFM during their graduate year where they will be exposed to a variety of work, people, teams and managers.
  • Graduates will be given a buddy in each area and will be supported by graduates from previous years. Your buddy will help you understand the work we do and how we do it.

There will be ongoing learning and development opportunities including on-the-job training, access to computer based training, and programs designed to develop and enhance technical and interpersonal skills.

Graduates can also use our generous study leave and financial assistance for further tertiary study.

Towards the end of your graduate year you will be amazed at the diverse range of work options available, and you will be involved in your final placement.
