The Office of Public Works and Services plans, designs, conserves, manages construction of and maintains public infrastructure throughout New South Wales. Our engineers, architects, project managers, scientists, surveyors and heritage specialists contribute to projects in health, education, justice and the environment, projects that have positive community impact.
NSW Procurement
The Office of NSW Procurement develops efficient and effective procurement services and processes for the management and/or procurement of NSW government assets, goods and services, construction and information and communications technology.
It offers experience and opportunities in areas as diverse as tenders and contracts, strategic sourcing, vendor management and reporting, policy, project management, business analysis and design of online procurement tools. All areas in NSW Procurement contribute to greater efficiencies and savings for government and the community, savings which can be re-invested in essential services such as health, police and transport.
Government Chief Information Office
The Government Chief Information Office (GCIO) drives the NSW Government’s information and communications technology (ICT) strategies and plays an influential leadership role in the implementation and management of these strategies within government, industry and the community. GCIO offers graduates the opportunity to experience a broad variety of specialities including telecommunications, broadband and wireless broadband, radio, internet, purchasing, enterprise resource planning, ICT security and digital television.
