Graduate Induction Program

A structured graduate induction program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive introduction to the company and your career with ExxonMobil in  Australia. Graduates work on various business projects, as well as undertaking a range of activities such as site visits and skills training in areas such as personal effectiveness.

Training Programs

From the time you join the organisation and throughout your career, we offer a structured approach to assess your career development needs and training  ctivities to enhance your effectiveness. There are many local and international training courses to assist you in meeting your business and professional
goals, in addition to the variety of experiences gained through on-the-job training.

When to apply

For Graduate Employment, applications open in late February and will close on Monday 30 March 2009.

Our Vacation Employment program targets students in their penultimate year for a three-month summer placement. Applications open in July and close in  mid-August. More specific information will be available on our website.

Eligibility

Applications for our Graduate and Vacation Employment programs are required to have Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Position locations

Depending on individual career preferences and available job opportunities, successful candidates may be based at head office (Southbank, Melbourne) or at one of our main processing facilities including Altona Refinery in Melbourne’s western suburbs or the Longford Gas Plant, located near Sale, 250km east of Melbourne.
