Deutsche Bank

Truly a global bank – global in the way we think, in the markets we serve and in the people we employ, Deutsche Bank offers exciting career opportunities with far-reaching prospects. We are one of the world’s leading international financial service providers and in Australia and New Zealand a leading foreign bank with strong businesses in all sectors of the Australasian commercial and investment banking markets, asset management and private banking.

What we offer graduates

Graduate Analysts are recruited across all areas of the Bank. Whether you want to work in Corporate Finance, IT, HR or trading, we have a program to suit you. Programs vary in length and format and, while some involve rotations through different areas to develop broad based knowledge, others develop your specialist skills from day one. No matter what path you take with us you will be a valued team member, making a real and valued contribution from the outset.

Training opportunities

All new Analysts from our offices across the globe come together for the initial Induction Program which takes place in London or New York. The Induction Program includes an introduction to the Bank, a two-day teamwork challenge, where you will play a key role in a community based project, and tailored classroom training: all designed to ensure that you hit the ground running in your new role.

Your learning and development doesn’t stop there. Throughout your career we will ensure you have the all the support you need to succeed. Upon completion of your induction training, you will begin the continuous development program. We offer a global curriculum including business and finance, personal and team effectiveness, leadership and management and will support you in acquiring the relevant professional qualifications where required.

Summer intern program

Deutsche Bank recruits summer interns into a variety of areas, each offering a two month on-the- job experience that allows you to acquire practical work skills to complement your academic achievements.

Summer interns are assigned to a particular division or product group within our business lines. As part of your eight-week on the job experience, you will be involved in:

  • An orientation program in Sydney
  • A business-devised training program
  • A lunch series hosted by senior management
  • A mentor program
  • Formal review and feedback sessions
