Graduate Opportunities

ANCA is an international, world-leading designer and manufacturer of high-precision CNC grinding machines, providing system solutions for more than 800 customers around the globe. ANCA has more than 350 employees located in 10 countries. As well as designing the complete machines, the engineers located at Bayswater also write all of the machine software, as well as all of the programs for the technologically-advanced CNC system.  

ANCA has a regular intake of a small number of graduate engineers each year. These engineers are guided through a planned program to give them experience in all aspects of the ANCA business. Four to 12 weeks are spent in each engineering department, depending on capabilities and training, and a shorter time in other areas.  Specific projects are set for software applications, mechanical and CNC engineering, as well as suitable time learning how to set-up, program and run ANCA tool and cutter grinding machines. Time is planned for finance, machine build, customer Service, Production Control and other company departments. These programs are typically nine to 12 months long. The intention is to not only give graduates full knowledge of the whole environment that makes up ANCA, but also to build relationships within the various departments.

The engineering graduates can also demonstrate and test their capability in the various departments so a suitable decision on deployment can be agreed for the best benefit to graduate and ANCA at the end of the program.
