Investment Analyst, Australian Super
Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), The University of Melbourne

I completed two internships, one at an investment bank and the other at AustralianSuper. The work-life balance and the large, diverse projects available to work on at AustralianSuper made accepting a graduate offer here an obvious choice for me.

My Experience at AustralianSuper

During the graduate program, I rotated through the fixed income, infrastructure and macro teams. In each team I had the opportunity to work with some of the most senior people in the organisation including the Chief Investment Officer. The exponential growth at AustralianSuper has provided all graduates so far with the opportunity to settle in the team most suited to them.

My best advice for you

If you’ve got an interview for a graduate position, chances are the organisation has decided you’ve got the qualifications for the job. Let your personality come through in the interview – the person on the other side is ultimately deciding if they would like to work with you five days a week. Show them why that’s a good idea!
